North Heights is committed to building the most real, intense, and life-changing teen ministry possible. We combine a solid foundation of prayer and Bible-based principles, an army of leaders who care about teenagers, high-tech sound, video and lighting, great music, lots of pizza, and hundreds of the greatest, friendliest, most on-fire teens anywhere to create a ministry that is impacting thousands of lives.
Around here, Christianity isn't a “heard it, read it, sung it, said it” thing—It’s a LIVING IT thing! As part of the SonFirePower team, you won’t just learn about God as a spectator, you will ENCOUNTER God as a participant. Although there’s no way to capture all that SonFirePower is through a website, we hope this site will give you at least a glimpse of what we are about.
The best way to understand SonFirePower is to experience it yourself.In addition to our weekly programs, camps and retreats here are a few of the other ways teens can get involved at North Heights.

Missions, Service, and Student Leadership
SonFirePower offers several ways to put your faith into action. These opportunities include: serving as a Teen Leader (assisting with camps, retreats and special events), as a member of our “Impact Teams” (helping out with skits, worship and tech stuff), local and regional events, Mission Mexico, Mission Training Camp, and more.
Music and Drama
If you’re interested in music and drama, you’ll love North Heights! There are dozens of ways to develop and use your talents through our Passion Play and Splendor of Christmas productions, choirs, handbells, bands, worship teams, skits, dance, and lots more.
Sports
Blessed with three gyms, a racquetball court, a soccer field, a softball diamond, locker rooms, walking trails, and a Fitness Center, North Heights has lots of opportunities to enjoy athletics in a Christian setting. We also have the “Blaze” basketball team for Senior High guys.
